My Surprising Secrets
Welcome to the first in a series of articles where I will share “Secrets from the C-Suite”. My goal is to provide insights and lessons learned from my leadership journey to those on a similar journey.
One of the most frequently asked questions posed to me is “what is it like to be at the top of the organization?” Meaning to be part of the proverbial C-Suite. Judging from the reactions I receive my answers are often surprising.
I decided to share my experiences more broadly for those who aspire to sit in the seat someday, and for those who currently sit in the C-Suite.
For the first group, I hope to be a resource so you can approach your goal with your eyes wide open. For the second group, I hope to start a two-way conversation with like-minded professionals who already know it is lonely at the top.
What Secrets Do You Want To Know?
Here are some topics I have in mind for this article series.
- What makes it lonely at the top?
- What is your motive for leading?
- What are the positives of workplace politics?
